Ready for the next step after Mahjong 101? Mahjong 102 is designed for players who have taken Mahjong 101 with Kitsap Mahjong or another beginner class and want to build more confidence, strategy, and table awareness.This is not a beginner class. Players should already know the basic rules, tile names, Charleston, and general flow of play.
In this class, we will focus on:
Strengthening strategy and decision-making
Improving table awareness
Learning when and how to pivot
Building defensive play skills
Making safer, more strategic discards
Building confidence in live play
Current NMJL card required. Please bring your current NMJL card to class. If you do not have one, a Beginner Bundle with an NMJL card is available for purchase through Kitsap Mahjong.
This is a non-gambling event. All betting, wagering, or exchange of money is strictly prohibited.
Registration & Cancellation Policy
Individual registrations may be combined into shared tables. Kitsap Mahjong will make every effort to accommodate card preferences and seating requests, but cannot guarantee specific table assignments.
Registrations are non-refundable but may be transferred to another player or another 102 class with at least 24 hours’ notice. Please email [email protected] if transferring your registration.
If you register and later realize this class is not the right fit for your experience level, your registration may be converted to class credit for a future beginner lesson or eligible Kitsap Mahjong event.
By registering, participants acknowledge they have read the event description and understand this is not a beginner Mahjong class.
