Purulia Chhau — Mahishasura Mardini
Baithak Virasat presents a Navratri Special evening of Purulia Chhau, one of eastern India’s most powerful traditional dance forms, known for its vibrant masks, dramatic movements, martial energy and storytelling.
On this special evening, Tarapada Rajak & Troupe bring Mahishasura Mardini to Kota, presenting the timeless story of Goddess Durga’s triumph over Mahishasura through the distinctive visual language and dynamic movement of Purulia Chhau.
