About this Event
Gather your friends or come on your own and play for a purpose at Mah Jongg & Mimosas!
Join fellow Mah Jongg players for friendly play, connection, prizes, snacks, and plenty of fun, all in support of teaching local children with dyslexia and other learning challenges to read at grade level.
No Mah Jongg set? No problem! We’ll have sets available for players to use. Whether you’re a longtime player or just discovering the game, you’re invited to join us.
Every dollar raised helps The Next Page provide individualized instruction, learning evaluations, and trusted advocacy to children and families in our community. Your participation also helps make these services more accessible to families who need financial assistance.
Learn & Play Mah Jongg!
New to Mah Jongg? Returning after a break? Or just want to brush up on your skills?
We’re offering two optional lead-up lessons with experienced local instructors to help you feel comfortable and confident at the table.
These sessions are a great way to learn the basics, practice play, ask questions, and meet other local Mah Jongg players before Mah Jongg & Mimosas. Space is limited, so advance registration is encouraged.
Lesson with Peggy Kamins: Thursday, October 8 | 5:30–8:30 p.m.
Lesson with Susan Horning: Monday, October 12 | 5:30–8:30 p.m.
Join Peggy or Susan for an engaging, hands-on Mah Jongg lesson designed to help players feel more comfortable at the table. Participants will review essential game concepts, practice play, ask questions, and build confidence.
