This summer we are with our annual folk & roots festival featuring extraordinary artists from around the world.
Join us for a beautiful afternoon & evening as you wander from stage to stage with music all around you. Take in the incredible views from Cody Dock as you seek out familiar sounds and discover new favourites.
With artists performing across three stages there's plenty of opportunities to revel in amazing live music.
What treasures will you find at the Magpie's Nest?
We’ll be taking over the entire Cody Dock area for a whole day, with multiple stages across their community gardens and nature conservation site. As well as our main stage we’ll have smaller intimate, acoustic stages in the gardens and drydock, and a very special hidden stage.

Kate Griffin & Matchume Zango
Kate Griffin and Mozambique multi-instrumentalist Matchume Zango are forging a new cross-cultural collaboration celebrating the universal power of traditional music.
Ruth Lyon
Ruth Lyon is a potent songwriter from Newcastle-Upon-Tyne, who weaves deeply evocative narratives and powerful meditations, with an artistry that balances delicacy and strength.
Sarah Jane Scouten
Sarah Jane Scouten is a Canadian alt-country and folk revival songwriter based in Scotland. “An agile voice, ruminative songwriting, and love for classic country, indie pop, and everything in between.”
Caraway
Six-piece band fusing jazz, folk and electronica. Cinematic soundscapes, poetic lyrics, folk-tinged melodies and sultry horn lines.
Old Spot
Old Spot (Rowan Piggott & Joe Danks) burst onto the scene with a critically acclaimed debut album and a whirlwind UK tour, quickly establishing themselves as a fresh force in old-time music.
Craven
Craven are a part English, part Welsh, dark folk trio based in the South West. Their music is grinding and symphonic, delicate and ethereal.
Âellin
Âellin is led by Bristol-based multi-instrumentalist Siân Magill. A burgeoning force in the UK experimental folk scene, Magill’s songcraft is marked by a spirit of restless exploration and curious wonder.
Siwan Catrin
Siwan [SHOO-wan] is a Welsh harpist, folk musician, and singer-songwriter singing traditional and self-written pieces in both Welsh and English.
Pearl Fish
Pearl Fish is a young sprite of a singer songwriter from South East London who’s dreamy and flawless voice can make you believe in a world of fairytales and magic
Dyarr
A collective of Arab creatives in London, cultivating a sense of home away from home.

Naomi Wood
Naomi is a spoken word performer and theatre maker, celebrating rebellion and revelling in rage whilst maintaining a healthy preoccupation with the eroticism of bird feeders.
