The film "Magna Graecia: Griko of Apulia" is an award-winning documentary set in the Griko towns of Apulia, with music from renowned musicians George Ellis, Minas Midis, Tassos Bouzouki, and Kenny Bradfield. The film explores the ancient language of Griko, which was the lingua franca of the region until recent centuries, and the cultural heritage of the Griko people. It highlights the historical significance of the Griko towns and encourages people to learn and appreciate the dialect to preserve its legacy for future generations. The film is part of a trilogy of projects that aim to educate the Greek Diaspora and promote the region's historical significance.
