Celebrate 10 years of Magisterra Soloists with our landmark CD launch, featuring world-premiere recordings, and hear the music live!
About this Event

Come celebrate a decade of Magisterra Soloists! Join us for the opening of our 10th anniversary season and the launch of a landmark new recording: our CD featuring the world-premiere recording of Ferdinand Thieriot’s Octet for winds and strings in B-flat major, Op. 62 and his Octet for strings in C major, Op. 78.

This special concert brings Thieriot’s remarkable Octet for winds and strings to the stage alongside Louise Farrenc’s virtuosic Nonet in E-flat major, Op. 38, as well as two contemporary works commissioned for violin and viola by Annette-Barbara Vogel: muito alem do jardim by André Mehmari and Rhythmic Stew by Thomas Yackimec.

Be among the first to own the recording! The CD will be available exclusively at Magisterra concerts following its launch on September 20, before its international release through Toccata Classics in November.

Celebrate this milestone with us as we look back on ten extraordinary years of music-making and embark on an exciting new chapter for Magisterra Soloists.
