MagicLand at The Redwood — Screening, Live Music & Costume Party with Jaymz BeeThe final stop on MagicLand’s Toronto run is the party night! Join Jaymz Bee at The Redwood Theatre for his debut feature film, a Q&A, live music and a costume contest. 🎬🎶
Come as your favourite mythological creature or Greek god. As Jaymz says: “Zeus is acceptable. Dionysus is encouraged.” 🏛️✨
MagicLand is a myth-illogical musical comedy starring Irene Torres as Athena, Adam James as the spectacularly self-absorbed Narcissus and Jaymz Bee as Zeus. Gods, monsters and magical misfits fill a musical adventure made by an extraordinary community of Toronto artists.
Directed by Jaymz Bee and written by Robert Priest and Jaymz Bee, the film brings together more than 80 singers, songwriters, musicians, actors and artists. Come spot familiar faces on the big screen and celebrate with us afterwards!
Jaymz personally tested The Redwood’s sound and screen, and the room holds more than 200 people—plenty of space for this celebration of independent Canadian film and music.
