About this Event
In this workshop, we will work with dried flowers, herbs and botanicals to create our own magical wreaths, weaving together flowers, intentions, memories and spells. We will begin by exploring the folklore and traditional meanings held within different flowers and plants, their stories, symbolism, seasonal connections and the ways they have been used throughout history in rituals, remedies, protection, love and remembrance.
Each flower carries its own character and history. We will consider what we are drawn to, what we want to invite into our lives, and what we might wish to leave behind.
Using dried flowers and natural materials, you will create a wreath with your own intention at its heart. Your wreath might become a talisman for protection, love, abundance, courage, healing, transformation, or simply a reminder of something you wish to carry with you.
We will weave words, symbols, wishes and spells into the wreath, creating something that is both beautiful and personal. The making becomes a kind of ritual: a slow act of gathering, choosing, binding and remembering.
A chance to step into the liminal space between nature and imagination, craft and ritual, the ordinary and the magical.Leave with a wreath of your own making, woven with flowers, folklore and a little piece of magic.
