Core Concept & Event Setup
The "Leylines" Theme: Borrowing from classic Magic Leyline cards (such as Leyline of Sanctity, Leyline of the Void, or Leyline of Anticipation), the event introduces special house rules or emblem effects that start active before the first turn begins.
Pre-Game Effects: At the start of each game, players either draw from a special "Leyline Deck" of emblems, choose a Leyline effect, or receive store-designated emblem modifiers that alter the field (e.g., granting graveyard exile, free spell casting conditions, flash to nonland cards, or continuous global buffs).
Format: Typically run as a Chaos Draft, or Casual Constructed event timed around late October / Halloween season.
