About this Event
Made on the Hill: Prepared for Every Room is a professional development and networking experience designed to help Alabama A&M University students prepare for the professional environments they will encounter during internships, interviews, networking events, early-career opportunities, and after graduation.
The event focuses on an important distinction: being prepared for the workplace does not mean students have to stop being themselves. Instead, students will learn how to understand professional expectations, communicate effectively, build meaningful relationships, and confidently bring their authentic personalities into professional spaces.
Rather than functioning as a traditional career fair, the experience is intended to create direct interaction between AAMU students, local businesses, established professionals, and community leaders. Students will have opportunities to learn from people already working in professional environments and then immediately practice some of those skills through networking and conversation.
