This October, the White House Area Chamber of Commerce invites you to take a closer look at the manufacturers, skilled workforce and partnerships helping power our local economy during Made in White House, our celebration of Manufacturing Month.
⚙️ MANUFACTURING MONTH LUNCHEON
We’ll kick off the celebration with a special luncheon and panel discussion featuring leaders representing three important pieces of a strong manufacturing economy: industry, workforce development and economic development.

Ever wondered what it takes to make a bat for some of the best baseball players in the world?
Join us for an insider’s look at Old Hickory Bat Company and hear from founder Chad Lamberth about how a business that began in a one-car garage in 1999 grew into one of the most recognized names in professional baseball.
Today, more than 200 professional players swing Old Hickory bats. During our visit, we'll learn how carefully selected maple and birch are transformed into custom bats, with each one turned, hand-sanded and hand-finished to a player's specifications.

You've probably seen Tate Ornamental's work without ever realizing it was made right here in White House.
This family-owned company has been creating exceptional work since 1988, specializing in metal, architectural millwork and stone. Its portfolio stretches across the country and includes projects at the National Air and Space Museum, Universal Studios Epic Universe, Denver International Airport, Tampa International Airport, Vanderbilt University and the Museum of the Bible, among many others.
And Tate Ornamental continues to grow right here at home. The company announced a $12 million White House expansion creating 50 new jobs, with the additional facility designed to increase its millwork production capacity.
Join us October 28 to hear their story, meet the people behind the craftsmanship and get a behind-the-scenes glimpse at the extraordinary projects being created right here in our community.
