About this Event
✨ Calling all witches✨ for our annual bicycle ride around town to celebrate the spooky season together. Our loop around North Evanston includes a ride up and down Lincoln and Harrison (the northside designated bicycle route).
Once we wrap up our spooky ride, all witches are invited to come share an elixir or two at The Fat Shallot!

💀 PRE-REGISTRATION REQUIRED TO SUPPORT PLANNING! Registration will close on 10/25. 📑
🎃 Lights 🔦 and Helmets ⛑ are STRONGLY RECOMMENDED! (If you need assistance getting lights or a helmet, please reach out to [email protected]).
🍭 🍬 🍭 🍬 Candy Toss - New route this year to help build awareness for our city's bicycle infrastructure!!!The candy toss will take place along Lincoln & Harrison Street! More details to be released soon. Witches, please come prepared with candy to toss at all the little goblins 👻 along the route!
🤝💰 More importantly, this year we will be collecting donations for Sanctuary Evanston to continue supporting local immigrant neighbors. Thank you in advance for your support of our neighbors. Witches will be able to make donations via Venmo and cash the day of.

We’re looking for a few extra helping hands to make this year’s Witches’ Ride safe, fun, and successful! Volunteers are needed to help with ride support during the event and post-event candy toss clean-up the following morning.
Whether you can help during the ride, with clean-up, or both—we’d love to have you on the crew! 🍭🧹✨

Witches Vanish Off to Ride Their Bicycles
Info: Witches depart promptly at 5:45pm from Mack's to ride along Lincoln St. and Harrison St. while tossing candy at all the little children along the way. More ride details to be shared in October. All riders are strongly encouraged to have lights and helmets.
