Machine Knit Christmas Stocking Class, Hands-on

Knit a patterned Christmas Stocking using a knitting machine. We provide the yarn, pattern and instruction. Bring a knitting machine or use one of our shop machines. No experience necessary. You will go home with a finished item, but with some home seaming required.

W e will use a standard Brother or Silver Reed/Studio knitting machine in class. For those bringing a machine: a ribber is not necessary. If you are bringing a machine or ribber we will take some time at the beginning of class to make sure everything is in working order, but we will not do repairs.

Techniques learned: casting on, hanging a hem, knitting 2 color Fairisle pattern, short rowing.
