Macbeth - To Be Thus Is Nothing (after William Shakespeare)

A modern retelling of Macbeth set in Dublin’s inner-city underworld.

The ‘Vault’, a rundown rave club, is the meeting place for our characters. Macbeth and Amelia are an ambitious couple caught in a dysfunctional family. Driven by dark forces, they commit M**der to seize control of the operation—but guilt, paranoia and violence soon tear them and their relationship apart.

This production explores manipulation, gender inequality, domestic conflict and emotional distress.
