Mabon Ritual (in-person), Reading, PA

Join us to turn the wheel of the year once again as we gather to celebrate Mabon. Mabon is our second harvest festival (fruit), which encourages us to “reap what we have sown,” both literally and figuratively. It is the time when night and day stand equal in duration; thus, it is a time to express gratitude, complete projects, and honor a moment of balance. This is the time to look back not just on the past year, but also on your life, and to plan for the future. In the rhythm of the year, Mabon is a time of rest and celebration, after the hard work of gathering the crops. Warm autumn days are followed by chilly nights, as the Old Sun God returns to the embrace of the Goddess. The holiday is named after the Welsh God, Mabon, son of the Earth Mother goddess Modron.
The doors will open at 5:15 pm, and our ritual will commence promptly at 5:45 pm. At that time, the doors will be closed to entry, so please be on time. There will be a feast after the ritual, and you are welcome to join us. If you would like to bring something to share for the Feast, you can sign up here: https://www.signupgenius.com/go/30E0B4EA9AF28A2FE3-57574330-mabon
Ritual attire(robes, cloaks, etc.) is encouraged but not required. You are welcome to wear basic black.
