About this Event
Remember the mall portrait studio? Fake bookshelf backdrop, a fern, a stranger counting down from three while your mom fixed your collar. It's back, and it's parked at Square Peg for the Christkindl Market.
We do floating-head portraits — the '80s/'90s department-store composite, done properly. Three backdrops per session (laser, muslin, whatever we've dragged out for the occasion), you sit for us, and you leave with the kind of portrait that's been hanging over your grandma's fireplace since 1987. Want the little inset in the corner? Fill it with whatever you want. We won't ask.
The family Christmas card, done properly — which is to say, badly. Holiday portraits for people who don't want the same soft-focus fireplace photo as everyone else. Families, couples, solo glamour, pets, cursed novelty items you insist on holding — all welcome. No theme too weird, no judgment on record.
Drop-in sessions, no appointment. Just show up.
