Lynnea Barry: Living On The Road, Van Zandt and Outlaw CountryFri, April 16, 7:30 PM
The Ashbrook Independent School, Corvallis, OR
Lynnea Barry and friends explore the work of Townes Van Zandt, Guy Clark, Rodney Crowell and a broad, loose complex of country-oriented artists who, in the 1970s and '80s pursued an approach to the form that diverged from what they found the over-produced, pop-oriented "Nashville sound" corporate Nashville into a blending of traditional country with rock and folk rhythms, and raw storytelling.
Thank you to our sponsors Mary Jeanne Jacobsen, Collis Wealth Management and The Eye Center for this performance.
