About this Event
Luxe Braid Academy: Youth Fall Break Experience is a hands-on 4-hour beauty experience designed to introduce young creatives to the fundamentals of braiding, creativity, confidence, and beauty entrepreneurship.
This Fall Break, Luxury Wellness Spa is welcoming just 10 students for an intimate learning experience where each participant will receive personalized instruction, hands-on practice, and their own professional braiding kit to continue developing their skills at home.
What Students Will Experience
Throughout the experience, students will learn:
- Basic braiding techniques and hand placement
- Proper parting and sectioning
- How to add braiding hair
- Tension and braid consistency
- Basic styling and finishing techniques
- Beauty tools and product essentials
- Confidence, creativity, and self-expression
- An introduction to beauty entrepreneurship
Students will spend dedicated time practicing on their own mannequin while receiving guidance and encouragement throughout the class.
🎀 Take-Home Luxe Braiding Kit
Each student will receive a $150 take-home kit, including a mannequin head and stand, braiding hair, jam, combs, sectioning tools, practice supplies, a Luxe Braid Academy workbook, certificate of completion, and additional goodies.
The class instruction is FREE. The $150 kit is required for participation and belongs to the student to take home.
👑 The Luxe Experience
We’ll end the day with a special Luxe Academy graduation, including certificates, photos, recognition, and an opportunity for each student to celebrate what they’ve created.
This isn’t simply about learning to braid.
It’s about giving young people the opportunity to discover a skill, express their creativity, build confidence, and see the possibilities that can come from developing a talent.

10:50 AM–12:00 PM | The Braid Lab
Hands-on practice on each student’s mannequin with guided instruction and individual support.
12:00–12:20 PM | Luxe Break
Refreshments, social time, and photos.
12:20–1:15 PM | Create Your Signature Braid
Students put their new skills to work while adding their own creativity and personality.
1:15–1:35 PM | Future Beauty Boss
An introduction to creativity, confidence, beauty careers, entrepreneurship, and turning a skill into an opportunity.
1:35–2:00 PM | Luxe Graduation ✨
Certificates, student recognition, photos, and celebration.
