About this Event
Join Montgomery County Councilmember At-Large Laurie-Anne Sayles, the Montgomery County Council, and the Office of Agriculture on Tuesday, November 10, 2026, for a special luncheon and proclamation celebrating National Farmers Day!
This gathering honors the dedication, leadership, and contributions of Montgomery County’s agricultural community. From nourishing our families and strengthening our local economy to preserving our agricultural heritage, farmers play an essential role in our County’s vitality and future.
In recognition of the 2026 Year of the Woman Farmer, we will celebrate the women whose leadership and innovation are shaping the future of agriculture. With a 93,000-acre Agricultural Reserve to preserve, this celebration also reaffirms our shared commitment to supporting local farmers, strengthening our agricultural community, and sustaining Montgomery County’s farming traditions for generations to come.
