Three people at a Michigan machine shop quoted the same part. They came back with three different prices. That is the problem David Blank built Veriti to solve, and it is the one most job shops live with every day. The logic behind a good quote is not written down anywhere. It lives in the heads of one or two estimators, built up over decades of knowing which jobs run long, which customers need a buffer, and when to walk away. Many of those people are nearing retirement.
When they go, the pricing knowledge goes with them.
Veriti reads the customer's drawing and drafts a priced quote in minutes using the shop's own pricing rules. The estimator reviews it and corrects whatever is off, and every correction becomes a rule the next quote uses. The estimator stays in charge. The shop keeps what it knows.
David will walk through how that works in practice, what it takes to get your pricing logic out of someone's head and into something the whole shop can use, and how shops are quoting faster without giving up control of their numbers.
