About this Event
Tools for Everyday Leadership
You do not need a title to be a leader.
Leadership happens every day—in how we communicate, respond to challenges, support others and contribute to the team. In this interactive lunch and learn, participants will explore how their everyday choices can influence teamwork, safety and workplace culture, regardless of their position or level of experience.
Through group discussion and realistic trades-based scenarios, participants will identify where they already have influence, explore the connection between leadership and allyship, and discover practical ways to lead by example on the jobsite.
Learning outcomes
By the end of the session, participants will be able to:
- Recognize the influence they already have within their teams and workplaces.
- Explain how everyday decisions and behaviours shape workplace culture.
- Identify practical ways to demonstrate leadership without holding a formal title.
- Understand how allyship contributes to respectful and inclusive workplaces.
- Apply constructive leadership strategies to common jobsite situations.
- Take practical steps to strengthen teamwork, inclusion and workplace safety.
