Turn your lunch break into something meaningful! Bring your meal to the Sears Recreation Center and enjoy a thought-provoking documentary in a relaxed, welcoming setting. This month, we’re featuring the doc “The Stray Story: A Dogumentary.” In this film, in a consumerist society where everything, including man’s best friend, is treated as disposable, everyday people aiding stray dogs remind us what being human and humane is all about. Through their experiences, successes, difficulties, and dilemmas, the documentary exposes the problem and its solutions, while tackling the human condition in the western world.
