About this Event
The holiday season is often portrayed as a time of joy, connection, and celebration, yet for many clients it can bring increased stress, anxiety, grief, loneliness, family conflict, financial pressure, trauma reminders, and unrealistic expectations. This experiential Lunch & Learn CEU introduces therapists to creative interventions that can help clients identify, express, and regulate difficult emotions associated with the holiday season.
Participants will explore art-based techniques that can be adapted for children, adolescents, and adults and used within counseling settings. Activities focus on emotional awareness, boundaries, coping, self-compassion, grief, expectations, and creating a sense of safety and choice during a potentially overwhelming time of year.
Participants are welcome to bring their lunch or can also choose to have boxed lunch for an addtional fee. There will be a separate email for luch orders sent out prior to the event for particpants to chosse their selections.
