Topic: Structural Integrity: Inclusive of our Say-Do RatioAbout this Event
We’ll examine the vague statements we constantly hear in the trades and have somehow grown to accept:
- “I’ll call you first thing tomorrow.”
- “I’ll get back to you soon.”
- “We should be there sometime next week.”
- “I’m on my way.”
- “It’s almost finished.”
- “I’ll send the quote over later.”
- “We’re waiting on materials.”
- “I thought someone else was handling it.”
- “We’ll take care of it.”
- “That shouldn’t be a problem.”
- “I’ll let you know.”
- “We’re working on it.”
What do these statements actually mean and when does our lack of specificity become a lack of integrity?
