About this Event
Australia Day is the busiest day of the year on Sydney Harbour, and the best place to watch it isn’t the foreshore. Step aboard Luna, Sydney’s only wood-fire pizza boat, for three hours of food, drinks and harbour action on 26 January.
There’s no buffet line and no fixed tables. Wood-fired pizza comes to you as roaming slices, hot from the oven, while you move between decks and watch the harbour fill with ferries, tall ships and sails.
WHAT’S INCLUDED
🍕 Roaming Wood-Fired Pizza
Fresh wood-fired pizza served canapé-style for the whole cruise. Our team circulates with a rotating selection of four pizzas (two vegetarian, two meat), so you can grab a slice, try a new flavour when the next one comes around, and never give up your spot on the rail.
🧀 Grazing Tables
Available throughout the cruise:
- Fresh vegetables and dips
- Antipasto
- Cheese selection
- Accompaniments
🍾 Drinks Package
Included for the full three hours:
- Beer
- Red, white and sparkling wine
- Soft drinks
🍸 Spirits & Cocktails at the Bar
After something stronger? Spirits and cocktails are available to purchase from the bar throughout the cruise. These are in addition to the included drinks package.
⚓ Four Areas to Explore
Luna gives you room to move. Find your favourite spot, then go find another:
- Lower Deck
- Upper Deck
- Bow
- Open-Air Rooftop
Australia Day on the Water
The official Australia Day harbour program runs through the middle of the day, while we’re out on the water. It usually includes the Ferrython, the Tall Ships Race, the Harbour Parade, Defence Force flypasts and displays, and the Australia Day Regatta. Luna cruises as part of the general spectator fleet, so you can take it all in from the deck with a slice in one hand and a drink in the other, instead of fighting for a patch of grass at Circular Quay.
Luna Cruises is an independent cruise operator and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or an official participating vessel of the Australia Day program or its organisers.
🎵 Music Onboard
Music plays throughout the cruise to keep the Australia Day atmosphere going.
