🎅Introducing: Lumsden Toy & Book Exchange🎅
We're here to bring new life to your toys. Whether you're purging toys, looking for second hand Christmas gifts for your kids or wanting to take your kids toy shopping, this event is for you!
Sunday, November 22nd from 2:00-4:00 pop by the Lumsden Hall to look for toys, take a photo with Santa from 3-4 or enjoy a cup of hot chocolate.
The Lumsden Library will be on site offering gift wrap by donation.
FAQ:
How can we donate toys?
Arrange an advance drop off with Karlee 306-540-9999 the week leading up to the event or bring your items to the hall between 1:00-2:00.
What condition should the toys be in?
Toys must be in good, used condition and contain all pieces. Do not think of this as a way to dump your garbage toys. Toys with small pieces should be bagged and attached appropriately.
Are kids welcome at the swap?
Yes. However, all kids must be accompanied by an adult. Kids can come pick out items but playing or running with friends will not be tolerated.
Do I need to donate toys in order to shop for toys?
No. We want all kids in our community to have access to toys this Christmas.
What happens to the leftover toys?
Toys will be offered to Lumsden daycares/preschools. All remaining toys will be donated.
