Luminare Christmas is the holiday concert for people who like their carols with a little more voltage.Picture the warmth of Mannheim Steamroller, the rock energy of Trans-Siberian Orchestra, and the cinematic sweep of a Hans Zimmer score, all in one show. That's the sound Luminare Christmas brings to the stage: reimagined holiday classics, original compositions, and a heartwarming story woven through the whole night.
The ensemble is led by a former Mannheim Steamroller keyboardist who spent years as musical director for Dennis DeYoung of Styx, and it shows. The musicianship is world class, the vocals are lush, and the lighting and video design turn the whole room into part of the performance.
It's built for everyone, from the grandparents who know every word of "O Holy Night" to the kids who want to see the lights go big. Critics have called it "awe-inspiring" and "the perfect holiday show for people of all ages," and we're inclined to agree.
Gather your people, put on something festive, and let Luminare Christmas kick your holiday season into high gear inside one of the most beautiful rooms in Licking County.
