LUMEN Season 1The Film & Photography Club, CSE-UAP, presents its newest National event "Lumen" with the flagship photography exhibition.
Every photograph begins with light, and every good one carries a story. Lumen 26 is FPC's invitation to bring yours to the walls of UAP. Below is everything you need to know before you take part.

Submissions close on 21 October 2026. The exhibition runs on 28 and 29 October 2026 at UAP Central Plaza.
Who can take part?
Students from any university may participate. Former students and faculty members of the CSE Department of UAP & students from all departments of UAP are also welcome to contribute.
What can I submit?
Work is accepted in three sections, and the theme is open in each. In DSLR/SLR Photography, the photograph must be taken with a DSLR or SLR camera. In Mobiography, it must be taken with a smartphone or tablet. In UAP Diary, it should reflect a moment or memory from life at UAP. You may send up to nine photographs in total, with no more than three per section.
How should my files be prepared?
Name each file in the format ID_Category-Number_Photo-Number. Submit high-resolution JPG files of up to 30MP, with the original metadata intact. Photographs must be your own and must not have been published before. Please leave out watermarks, logos, borders, and wedding photographs. Editing should stay light, and heavier manipulation is acceptable only for clearly conceptual work. Offensive or inappropriate content will not be considered.
Is there a fee?
Submitting is free. If your photograph is selected for the exhibition, a fee of BDT 200 per selected photograph applies, payable after selection.
What do selected participants receive?
Each selected participant will receive a certificate, a T-shirt and a framed print of their work. The most outstanding entries will be recognized with Champion and Runner-Up crests.
What should I keep in mind?
All entries must be original, and FPC may verify the authenticity of any submission. Selected photographs may be used in the club's promotional material. Tampering with a photograph or breaking the rules may lead to disqualification. FPC also reserves the right to modify or cancel the exhibition if necessary.
