About this Event
lululemon Destin Commons Train with Layne
Join us on October 17, 2026, at 2:00 PM (CT) as we come together in the spirit of resilience, strength, and community inspired by Hurricane Isaias.
Storms remind us that strength isn't just about weathering difficult moments. It's about how we rise afterward. As our community continues moving forward, we invite you to gather, connect, and channel that resilient energy into purposeful movement.
This inclusive, strength-focused training experience welcomes everyone of all fitness levels who are ready to challenge themselves, build confidence, and train alongside a supportive community. Whether you're beginning your fitness journey or striving for your next personal best, you'll find encouragement, motivation, and inspiration every step of the way.
Led by Layne Mayerstein, a retired Explosive Ordnance Disposal Technician and current strength coach who trains the next generation of EOD technicians, this session combines disciplined coaching, functional strength training, and resilience-building techniques trusted by tactical athletes. You'll develop physical strength, mental toughness, and the confidence to tackle challenges both inside and outside the workout.
In recognition of the perseverance shown throughout Hurricane Isaias, this event celebrates the power of coming together, supporting one another, and emerging stronger than before. When we train as a community, we discover that resilience grows not only through individual effort but through shared experiences and collective support.
We'll meet under the Destin Commons Umbrella Exhibit, located next to Victoria's Secret. If weather conditions require, we'll move indoors at lululemon.
Bring a mat, water, and join us as we train, connect, and celebrate the strength that carries us through every season and every storm.
