About this Event
Franz Liszt was the most daring concert pianist of all time, a virtuoso whose music represents the upper limit of what humanity can achieve on the piano.
A transcription reimagines music written for voices, orchestra or another instrument for piano solo. Liszt transformed the form into an art of its own, preserving the soul of great works while intensifying them through his staggering virtuosity.
This solo program brings Liszt’s imagination to Beethoven’s symphonies, Schubert’s Lieder and other beloved masterworks, allowing one piano to summon the scale, color and force of an orchestra.
Following headline performances at Carnegie Hall and Seattle’s Benaroya Hall, Canadian-American pianist Ludovic Zamor will bring this formidable repertoire to Bellevue’s Meydenbauer Center Theatre with commanding technique, physical intensity and emotional directness.
Presenting partners are Belred Arts District Community Alliance, Northwest Pianos, and Wahid Noori, Wahid Noori Real Estate Services. Tickets are General Admission. Young Adult (25 and under) and Senior (65+) discounts are available.
Doors open at 6 pm concert starts at 7:30 pm
