BACKDOOR BOTANICS LUBE WRESTLING TOURNAMENT ’27
Sixteen fighters. Two weight categories. One very slippery pool.
After making its debut at Cape Town Pride 2026, Backdoor Botanics Lube Wrestling returns for a full afternoon of slippery, high-energy competition.
Sixteen fighters will go head-to-head across two weight categories in a tournament where strength, stamina, strategy and getting that one sock off all count. Expect a lubed-up pool, competitive matchups, big personalities and plenty of spectacular slips along the way.
Hosted by MC Stella Rose, with MMA Ref Steph keeping the action in check, this is queer entertainment that doesn't take itself too seriously but brings the competition.
Whether you're coming to cheer on your favourite fighter, experience something a little different, or simply spend your Sunday surrounded by good people and gloriously chaotic energy, you're invited.
