Join us December 12th at First Street Tattoo Parlor for the Fifth Annual Lowbrow Classic!What began as a handful of friends painting skateboard decks has grown into a cornerstone of Grand Junction’s creative community.
Each year, artists and makers from all walks of life come together to showcase their craft, share ideas, and celebrate the art that thrives outside traditional galleries.
Five years later, the Lowbrow Classic remains rooted in the same DIY spirit that brought it to life. A belief that art belongs to everyone, that creativity is worth celebrating, and that something beautiful takes shape when people gather with purpose.
This event is free and open to everyone. Whether you’re an artist, a collector, or simply curious, we invite you to come spend an evening surrounded by good people and extraordinary work.
Some of this year’s participating artists have also generously chosen to donate proceeds from their artwork to Sozo Youth Sanctuary Foundation, a local nonprofit dedicated to supporting at-risk youth in Colorado.
Above all, the Lowbrow Classic is about care, connection, and showing up for one another. It’s a celebration of the people who make this community what it is, and a reminder of what we can build together.
