About this Event
What if loving your body wasn't about changing it—but learning to listen to it?
Our bodies are constantly communicating with us through sensation, tension, fatigue, emotions, energy, breath, hormonal changes and the ways we move through the world.
But most of us were never taught how to listen.
Instead, we learned to push through, override, disconnect, tighten, numb, criticize and keep going.
Love Your Body is a 2-week experiential workshop series designed to help you reconnect with your body and develop a deeper understanding of what it's communicating.
Through yoga, mindful movement, breathwork, meditation, somatic practices and self-inquiry, we'll explore three different layers of the body—creating space to connect, regulate, release and ultimately feel more at home in yourself.
Each 2 hour workshop can be experienced individually, but together they create a deeper journey.
WEEK ONE (10/18)
UNLOCK YOUR PELVIC FLOOR
Connect • Release • Restore • Strengthen
Your pelvic floor is more than a group of muscles.
It is part of your core, your posture, your breath, your movement and your relationship with your body.
Some pelvic floors need strengthening.
Some need releasing.
And many need both.
In this 90-minute experiential workshop, we'll explore the pelvic floor through yoga, breath, mindful movement, mobility, release and strengthening practices.
We'll explore:
✨ Pelvic floor awareness and connection
✨ Releasing unnecessary tension and gripping
✨ The relationship between the breath, diaphragm, core and pelvic floor
✨ Hip and pelvic mobility
✨ Foundational strengthening and stability
✨ Learning when to engage and when to soften
✨ Reconnecting with this often-overlooked part of your body
This isn't simply about doing more Kegels.
It's about learning to listen first—and then respond.
You'll leave with a greater understanding of your pelvic floor and simple practices you can incorporate into your everyday life.
WEEK TWO (10/25)
LOVE YOUR CHANGING BODY
Hormones • Stress • Energy • Life Transitions
Your body changes throughout your life.
And sometimes those changes can leave you wondering:
“What is happening to me?”
Whether you're navigating perimenopause, menopause, a major life transition, increased stress, changes in energy or simply feeling different in your body than you used to—this workshop is an invitation to stop fighting those changes and begin working with your body.
We'll explore the connection between hormonal health, stress, the nervous system and the body's need for rest, recovery and adaptation.
Through yoga, breathwork, meditation and embodied practices, we'll explore:
✨ How stress affects the way we experience our bodies
✨ The nervous system and regulation
✨ Hormonal changes and shifting energy
✨ Movement that supports rather than depletes
✨ Rest, recovery and learning to listen to your body's signals
✨ Breath practices for grounding and regulation
✨ Releasing the expectation that your body should function the way it did years ago
✨ Creating a more compassionate relationship with your changing body
This isn't about controlling your hormones or “fixing” your body.
It's about learning to adapt, nourish and support yourself through change.
Because your body isn't failing you.
It may simply be asking you to relate to it differently.
