An evening of inspiration, tenacity, and (un)learning in support of Shelter House. We are thrilled to announce that we will be bringing the brilliant award-winning Ontario author and social justice activist, Maggie Helwig (she/her), to Thunder Bay to discuss her invaluable work on the frontlines! She will shed light on the power of love and hope in a world of darkness and systemic oppressions.
To open the night we will also be hosting a FREE lively art exhibit to showcase artwork from our local encampment residents (past & present). Their works will be for sale with all proceeds meaningfully going back to the artist.
Maggie's Love Thy Neighbour talk is the ticketed portion of this event, with all proceeds supporting Shelter House programs and services.
