A national pop-up tour of independent record stores across Australia, celebrating the release of Louder Than Life: The Touring Musician's Handbook. Featuring a live performance by Jesse Morris, a conversation about life on the road with author Emily Rockit and Jesse Morris, and book signings at Rage Music & Vinyl, Coffs Harbour. Jesse Morris is the songsmith behind Jesse Morris and the Shakedown — notorious roots and reggae troubadours from Bundjalung lands, blending rebel folk, Caribbean grooves, salty psychedelic-dub, afrobeat, soul and dancehall into something entirely their own. Triple J's Dave Ruby Howe called it "authentic grooves with a hypnotic dub feel."
Louder Than Life is Emily Rockit's debut book — a story-driven guide to touring featuring real experiences from 30+ Australian musicians.
