A national pop-up tour of independent record stores and music venues across Australia, celebrating the release of Louder Than Life: The Touring Musician's Handbook. Featuring live performances by Phoebe Jacobs and Lucy Gallant, a conversation about life on the road with author Emily Rockit, Phoebe Jacobs and Lucy Gallant, and book signings at Elixir Music House — Cairns' home of independent music. Phoebe Jacobs is a Melbourne-born, Cairns-based singer-songwriter whose soulful, cinematic sound blends modern soul, emotional storytelling, and raw vocal power. Her debut album Eye of the Storm took her to Glastonbury and The Troubadour in London, and she has shared the stage with Hiatus Kaiyote, Tex Perkins, and Ani DiFranco. Lucy Gallant is a bohemian folk-pop artist whose multicultural roots, one-woman show, and nomadic spirit have taken her to Glastonbury, Splendour in the Grass, Woodford Folk Festival, and Bluesfest.
