On Saturday 18th July, we are hosting a free-entry joint charity do!! Expect live music, bbq, raffle, art gallery (available to view in the tipi) and auction hosted by Ian Bulkeley!! Organised by myself and Stephen Harding at Wild Skies pyrotechnics - we have chosen two charities individually and personally close to our hearts. Steve, as many of you will know has been fundraising for the MND Association for years, including his first event at The Bhurty last year, which was a huge turnout!!
My charity, is one that some of you will also know! Lottie’s Way - The Charlotte Hope Foundation. A charity that has been set up in memory of my beautiful friend, Charlotte Hope - who passed away aged 19, in a car crash, she was hit head on by a driver under the influence, and sadly passed instantly. She was a beautiful kind soul, an avid volunteer for her community and in Kenya with her Dad’s charity (@tftaab_ ) and a trainee teacher, she aimed to teach in Kenya after getting her degree. Unfortunately, she never got the chance to, but Lottie’s Way continues her selfless work, empowering and providing opportunities for those around the world, who need it whether that’s through food donations, sanitary product donations, or educational costs/supplies. I am a proud trustee and social media manager of the charity, and have travelled 4 times to Kenya and Nepal, seeing firsthand the incredible impact the charity and Charlotte has.
We would be absolutely delighted to have you join us, you do not have to pay an entry fee, just bring yourself, friends and family, and money to spend!!! We are also currently on the lookout for raffle and auction prizes, if yourself or a business you know would like to donate, please get in touch to Sophie at [email protected] - we would be greatly appreciative. Thank you so much!?✨?
Please share wide and keep an eye out for our auction group, showcasing all the amazing prizes we have up for grabs, and get ready to pre bid!
