Get help choosing a new Medicare plan for 2027. Thursday, Nov. 5 at Juan Tabo Library, Albuquerque.About this Event
🚨 Losing your Presbyterian Medicare Advantage plan? Get help choosing a new one.
This free class is for anyone in Albuquerque or New Mexico whose Presbyterian Medicare Advantage plan is ending December 31, 2026, and who needs to pick a new Medicare plan for 2027.
About 30,000 New Mexicans are losing their Presbyterian Medicare Advantage plan. Presbyterian hospitals and clinics are not closing. The insurance plan is ending. But you need to act.
❌ If you do nothing, on January 1 you’ll be moved to Original Medicare. That covers hospital and doctor bills but not prescriptions.
🤔 And picking a new plan is not simple.
📋 There are dozens of plans to choose from.
🩺 Each one has its own list of doctors.
💊 Each one has its own list of covered drugs.
💵 Each one has its own costs.
📬 Your mailbox is filling up with brochures.
📞 Your phone is ringing with people who want to sign you up.
It’s hard to know where to start.
✅ Come to a free Medicare class and get it sorted out, no jargon. You'll learn what your 2027 choices are, how to keep your doctors, how to make sure your prescriptions are covered, and which questions to ask before you sign anything.
📄 Keep the letter your plan sent you. It gives you a one-time right to buy certain Medigap policies without health questions.
🔍 On a different Medicare plan? Read your Annual Notice of Change. Every plan can change its doctors and drug list each year.
