Please join PETA and Starts With One Today outside LAPD headquarters for a rally and vigil, letting the LAPD know that Angelenos want laws protecting animals enforced EVERYWHERE, from Skid Row to Beverly Hills. Animals are dying of abuse and neglect on Skid Row and throughout Los Angeles, while litters are illegally bred and sold. We will hold photos of dogs who have suffered and died on Skid Row as a reminder of the casualties of the Mayor's dangerous directive that unhoused individuals should be exempt from following animal protection laws. We will also call on the Mayor to let the LAPD do its job.
WHEN: Tuesday, October 20th, 11:30 am - 1:00pm
WHERE: Los Angeles Police Department - 100 W 1st St, Los Angeles, CA 90012-4112 (please see this map: https://maps.app.goo.gl/Z4rSJvRZLoQTxEgP9)
