Part 2: Mask/Costume Making Workshop & Celebration
Come make, dress up and bring the Wandle-Lore to life!
At The Grove, we’ll transform the stories and characters created in Part 2 into cool masks, costumes and creatures. We’ll make together, dress the site with our creations, and imagine what it might feel like to become part of the river’s living world.
We’ll end with a sacred site dressing, music, dance and a joyful community celebration at The Grove. Stick around for the celebration to see everyone’s amazing creations!!
Materials will be provided, but bring along your own recycled treasures — old clothes, cardboard, fabrics, boxes, found materials or useful tools — and let’s see what they can become.
Water provided. Bring your own drinks and snacks to share if you like!
No prior experience needed.
