Presented by: Rick AmRhein, Senior Research Professor, Valparaiso University and NWIGS Member.
This presentation covers the history of the Internet Archive, from its founding through the Wayback Machine along with its massive digitization efforts, and then focuses on the Archive's dedicated genealogy collection, digitized county histories and books, historical newspapers, yearbooks, government and vital records, extracted images, and recovering lost websites. These resources will give attendees concrete starting points for using the Archive in their own family history research.
