☀️🎉 45 YEARS OF LONG BEACH HMONG NEW YEAR FESTIVAL! 🎉☀️Come celebrate with us in the town full of sunshine!
For 45 years, Long Beach Hmong New Year has brought generations together to celebrate our culture, honor our roots, and keep our traditions alive. As home to many Hmong refugee families and one of the earliest Hmong New Year celebrations in Southern California, Long Beach holds a special place in our community’s history.
As former honored guest Lee Gossett once described it, Long Beach is “a ray of sunshine.” ☀️ And that sunshine continues to shine through our people, our traditions, and the generations who carry our culture forward.
Whether you grew up attending Hmong New Year or are looking to experience Hmong culture for the first time, this is your invitation to be part of something special! Bring your family, gather your friends, and join us for a weekend filled with cultural performances, our iconic intergenerational fashion show, delicious food, local vendors, and community connection.
