The Garden Tipi - VALENTINES'S
SATURDAY 13th FEBRUARY 2027
Simon Wozniak
Simon Wozniak has been a sought-after headline act all around the UK for the past decade and has gone on to quickly establish himself as the one to watch with his honest, inimitable, no holds barred opinions on the world, hotly-tipped by the industry as a future star.
A master of the comedic crescendo, Wozniak builds routines, combining off-beat ideas and opinions with savagely honest insights into the inner workings of his mind and he has risen phenomenally through the ranks and can now be seen performing regularly at some of the biggest and best comedy clubs in the country.
In 2016 he was the winner of both the Nottingham Comedy Festival New Act of the Year and the World Series Panel Prize, Beat The Frog.
In 2019 he was the runner-up in the prestigious Leicester Mercury Comedian of the Year.
An engaging performer who injects energy into any room he performs in, Simon is a comic who is confident with joke structure and can use his skills to present unpredictable punchlines which take the wind out of his audience!
Tour support for Jason Manford
Since winning the inaugural Scottish Comedian of the Year Award in 2006, barely a year after his first-ever open-spot, Mark Nelson’s mix of dark humour, cutting observations and superb one-liners has seen him firmly established as one of the UK’s biggest-hitting comedy powerhouses.
With a likeable manner on stage belying some of the stronger content, Nelson often has audiences laughing at things they know they really shouldn’t be laughing at. A degree in Politics supports his brilliantly topical writing and, although his stand-up is certainly not for the easily offended, the material is intelligent, well conceived and beautifully crafted, all supported by a very confident delivery. He is therefore a very sought-after comedian and writer, with both the skill and intellect to be able to adapt his material to suit and entertain any club, theatre or corporate audiences.
Andrew Bird - MC
Andrew appeared on “The Russell Howard Hour” and supported Russell on tour including Bristol’s Ashton Gate Football stadium and six shows at The London Palladium. He’s also supported Rhod Gilbert, Rob Brydon, America’s Brian Regan and Michelle Wolfe on their only London shows and Michael McIntyre on an entire arena tour including Wembley and the O2. He’s written on the TV shows Jon Richardson’s Ultimate Worrier and 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown.
