Lollipop Gloss is a brand-new party inspired by the glorious excess, colour and joy of the 80s, topped off with a generous gloss of fabulous drag performances.
Expect 80s pop and dance music all night, pumping through Rubix Warehouse’s VOID sound system, with a dancefloor made for actually dancing, drinks flowing and a whole lot of joyful queer energy.

What do the 80s mean to you?
Big hair? Shoulder pads? Extreme make-up? Synths, sequins and colour everywhere?
Or something deeper? Defiance mixed with unapologetic joy?
Lollipop Gloss has been created as a loving, safe-space homage to one of the most pivotal and defining decades in music and queer culture.
The 80s were complicated. Alongside extraordinary creativity, music and self-expression were prejudice, political conservatism, the AIDS crisis and an ongoing fight to be seen, accepted and loved for who you were.
For many queer communities, nightlife became sanctuary.
The club was somewhere you could find your people. Somewhere self-expression wasn't simply welcomed, it was celebrated. Somewhere community came together and the resilience needed to face the outside world could be replenished.
The dancefloor was liberation.
It was release.
It was connection.
It was defiance.
It was freedom.
And it was joy.
Lollipop Gloss is our little love letter to that spirit.
No standing around worrying whether you look cool.
