At least that was the handle their loving fans gave them, but they never had much use for it themselves. The Lollie Bombs, they called themselves "The Lollies". Now, "Lollies" - that's a name no one would self-apply where I come from. But then there was a lot about the Lollies that didn't make a whole lot of sense.
Now this here story I'm about to unfold took place back in the early '90s - I only mention it because sometimes there's a Troupe... I won't say a hero, 'cause, what's a hero? But sometimes, there's a Troupe. And I'm talkin' about the Lollies here. Sometimes, there's a Troupe, well, they're the Troupe for their time and place. They fit right in there. And that's the Lollies, in Dallas.
