Lofu-Lounge Abschluss Gala mit Kitty Solaris + Tonia Reeh:After so many years and legendary nights and beautiful concerts it will be the final Lofi-Lounge on October 1rst! Reaching out for new challenges in music and forming a full Kitty Solaris Band. Also recording another album called 'Kosmos". Currently promoting the Ghost Palace Artst Society @ghostpalaceartistsociety and the first vinyl album "Modern Mantra", just arrived from the factory ✨ Thanks to amazing bands and the great Schokoladen team (bar, booking and sound) for the lovely nights. Together with long time mate Tonia Reeh we celebrate a final Lofi-Lounge Gala and the release of Tonias Album "Blues Babies".

Kitty Solaris started writing songs in her kitchen, leading to no fewer than nine albums – the latest released in 2024. Kitty Solaris follows her heroes – The Velvet Underground, Cat Power and Patti Smith – but in a way that is combining various styles and both analogue and electronic sounds. Her music rings out to disco beats of the 70s, keys from the 80s, rock vibrations from the 90s and a voice that is soft but with a strong core. Through telling everyday stories, Kitty Solaris opens up a universe that guides the listener through existential themes and feelings. „ She`d always been a bad girl.“
Mit ihrem neuen rein akustischen Soloprojekt, erfindet sich die in Ostberlin aufgewachsene und geborene Musikerin und Singer/Songwriterin wiedermal neu. Nachdem sie beim zuckenden Vakuum und Masonne E Gitarre spielte und sang, oder Jagoda, Monotekktoni, La Tourette, als Frontfrau, und Songwriterin an Synthesizer, Klavier oder E Gitarre spielte und Filmmusik schreibt. Und mit ihrem letzten Projekt: als La Tonia y Monotekktoni ihre antifaschistisch kämpferische Seite mit Elektro Flamenco manifestierte.
Jetzt hingegen möchte sie nun mit stromsparender Akustik Gitarre und Stimme die Herzen der Zuhörerinnen entern.
Auf ihrem am 26.9.25 auf Bandcamp erscheinenden Album „Blues Babies“ , gibt es auch mal ein rumpelndes Schlagzeug oder eine Orgel oder ein ähem Midi Cello und viel Body Percussion. Ähnlich die Tiefe, wie zur Zeit ihres luxuriösen Deals mit Clouds Hill, wo sie mit Klavier und exaltierter Stimme ihre düsteren Stories skandierte. Nur jetzt ganz schnodderig, dirty, auf den Punkt, und einfach schön.
Der Blues hat sie erwischt , denn das Leben ist eine chaotische Baustelle .
Kleine auf den Punkt gebrachte Geschichten, feministisch, anarchistisch, traurig, poetisch und anmassend frech. Von einem Leben von vielen Höhen und Tiefen und Einfühlungsvermögen in andere gescheiterte Existenzen kündend. Immer auf der Seite der Krummen, der Ausgebeuteten, der ausgenutzten Frauen, Tieren, Kindern, Oktaedern, Obdachlosen, Flüchtlingen, Migrantinnen, Schnabeltieren, Kühlschränken, Gitarren, Freiheitsstatuen, Losern und Prostituierten.
