About this Event
Every loc journey has a story. Let’s celebrate yours.
Heart of Carolina and Lock Starz Salon present Loctober: The Loc Social, a celebration of locs, culture, and community at The Shrine in Durham.
Join us for music, local vendors, photos, and conversations about loc history, care, and personal journeys. Connect with others, share your story, and celebrate the many styles, lengths, textures, and stages of locs.
Whether you have locs, used to have them, are considering starting, or simply want to support, you’re welcome. You don’t have to have locs to show love.
Saturday, October 24, 2026 6–8 PM The Shrine 308 S Driver St., Durham, NC 27703
Early bird tickets: $10
