GREAT GLOBAL GREYHOUND WALK 2026Our own local *sighthound only* walk as part of the GREAT GLOBAL GREYHOUND WALK 2026 will be taking place on Sunday 27th September 2026.
The walk this year is again taking place at Windy Bank Woods, adjacent to Bents Garden centre, Warrington Road, Glazebury, Warrington WA3 5NT
Walk details Meeting for 10 am with the walk to set off at 10.30 am, the walk lasts approximately 1.5 hours with a 40 minute short walk route available.
Voluntary donation of £2 per hound
Merchandise available to purchase - coats, collars, treats, Makants calendar - after the walk.
The theme this year is ‘Mythical Mutts’
Last year we had 109 hounds attending, let’s see if we can beat that this year!
* *Note this is a social dog walking event organised by Makants Greyhound Rescue. You are responsible for yourself and your dog(s). Please muzzle your dog if they may be reactive. Suitable footwear and clothing is advised**
