Join us for a special event with Will Gilson! Will is one of the most accomplished chefs to come out of Groton, and his return to his hometown marks an exciting new chapter for the local dining scene. Raised in a family deeply rooted in the local food community, Will learned the value of fresh, seasonal ingredients through his family’s beloved Herb Lyceum. He’ll discuss how those early experiences shaped his culinary philosophy, the lessons he learned along the way, what it takes to build a successful career in the restaurant industry, and his plans for the new restaurant, Puritan Tavern, in Groton. There will be time for Q&A, so please bring any questions you may have for Will. Will Gilson’s story is one of hometown roots, entrepreneurial success, and giving back. After building a celebrated culinary career in Cambridge, he is returning to invest in the community that shaped him, while preserving and expanding his family’s longstanding tradition of hospitality in Groton.
