We’ll hear from Paul Bence, Managing Director of George Bence Group, a remarkable sixth-generation family business with 173 years of history, which Paul has successfully grown and developed over the past decade.
We’ll then hear from one of Bence’s success stories, Alison Evans, Creative Director of Obsidian Interiors, who will share the latest interior design trends and advice, as well as how their showrooms help inspire clients to create truly exceptional spaces.
There will also be brief talks on two key initiatives dedicated to keeping more business local.
- Together Gloucestershire will then lead the conversation on to ‘What if more of the business happening in Gloucestershire stay in Gloucestershire?’
- Cotswold Collective is a membership community that rewards residents and visitors for shopping locally, enabling them to discover and support over 450 brands across the Cotswolds.
- Finally, local MP Max Wilkinson will join us to discuss all things Cheltenham, from the opportunities and challenges facing the town to the importance of supporting its local economy, followed with a Q&A.
And, in true Buy Local style, food and fizz will be supplied by a local supplier, giving us another chance to showcase the fantastic local businesses and talent on our doorstep.
